Benefits of hiring TMS Phones from Landwide and its agents

All Landwide Telstra Mobile Satellite phones have a domesticated phone number. This is unique to Telstra and has various advantages.

- Simplified dialling for calls within Australia (just dial the number including   the    STD code). You don't need to dial international access codes or   country codes    for calls placed wholly within Australia.
- Telstra Mobile Satellite has direct dialling access to 000 and 112
  emergency calls within Australia.
-  Your family or colleagues in Australia can call your Telstra Mobile Satellite   service direct by simply dialling your 01471 prefixed number. They will be   charged at the Telstra Mobile Satellite domestic (not international) call   Frates   for calls from fixed and mobile phones plus a connection fee (not   at   international rates)
- Free accessnumber for support from your
  Telstra Mobile Satellite   handset. Just dial 125 135.
- No charge to receive calls.
- You pay domestic (not international) call rates to available 1800, One3,   1300,   and Directory Assistance numbers.
- MessageBank 101 available on request form Landwide.

Accurate and efficient Call data

Landwide has a sophisticated billing system that ensures fast and accurate accounts of you calls generally available within 24 hours. Your bill is produced with all call detail including date, time called, number called and minutes used. These records are produced in similar format to your current Landline phone bill.

The Package

All Landwide Satellite Phones come in a padded Satellite Phone Bag. Landwide has developed this bag specifically for its rental fleet not only to protect our equipment whilst on hire but more so with our customers in mind.

Landwide recognises that should an accident occur, especially motor vehicles in remote areas, that our phones needed to survive the impact to ensure communications with the Emergency Services. The bag also needed to be padded to ensure that in the event of an accident, the handset (which Landwide recommends remains secured in the bag whilst travelling) did not become a “brick like missile” and injure the driver and passengers of the vehicle.

Unfortunately some of our handset have been involved in such events and have survived the accident to then be used for what it was originally hired for. An Emergency!

Call costs are charged in 30-second blocks with no flag fall or access fees. MessageBank is free to activate and should be asked for prior to your hire.
- Call made in Australia to a Domestic Numbers including Mobile $2.00 per 30 seconds
- Call made in Australia to a International Number $2.00 per 30 seconds
- Calls diverted to or received from MessageBank $2.00 per 30 seconds
- Call cost from TMS to another Iridium phone is $2.00 per 30 seconds
- Receiving calls whilst outside of Australia (overseas) $0.00 per 30 seconds
- Call costs to any other Satellite phone (other than Iridium)
  Eg: GlobalStar, Inmarsat and Optus etc will be charged at		 $11.00 per 30 seconds

Freight Charges if despatched from Landwide Head Office.

Landwide will send your Satellite Phone anywhere in Australia (capital cities) overnight for as little as $15 one way (extra for Darwin and remote locations). Some country areas require 2 days.

Landwide can also supply a convenient return consignment note from our courier service for as little as $15 for the return back to our Sydney office. Should you lose your prepaid return consignment note, return freight can still be organised through Landwide’s account but extra charges will apply.
